The whole situation was recorded and in the video, students can be seen running behind the teacher and throwing chappals at him while he flees away on a motorcycle. It is a shameful event and many users commented about the lack of sincerity shown by the teacher and praising the students for speaking up against it.
Talking about the condition of education in Bastar, a user wrote, "Firstly, there are fewer teachers in the same situation #Bastar and secondly, this condition! Hopefully, the education department would have taken cognizance."
While some praise the bravery of the students many criticise them for not respecting their elders, one person commented, "Good job, but still he's a teacher elder in age and other side they are still the kids and students must have some respect."
