New Delhi: Crime Branch of the Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested Apoorva Shukla the wife of Rohit Shekhar on the charges of murder.

Rohit Shekar is the son of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, ND Tiwari.
 
With connection to Shekhar’s murder, the crime branch of the Delhi Police had conducted a Narco test on his wife Apurva, who was under suspicion. However, police have given a clean chit to Shekhar's half-brother Siddhartha.
 
The police believe that the last three hours in Rohit's murder are very important and they can be crucial in solving this murder mystery. Police have not got any substantial evidence so far.

According to initial reports Rohit had died due to suffocation of the veins in his knee and ear. The crime branch is still waiting for the report of the viscera investigation. Through the report it can also be established if his liver, kidney and intestines were hurt.
