Speaking at the "The Delhi CycleWalk", Union home minister Amit Shah slammed Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress' Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi
New Delhi: BJP president and Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday (January 6) accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of not doing anything in its tenure other than deceiving people by publishing advertisements.
Speaking at an event, Shah said the Aam Aadmi Party government has done maximum damage to the poor and those living in rural areas.
On the Delhi government not implementing the Centre's Ayushman Bharat, the BJP president said that Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal fears that if the scheme starts, people of Delhi will favour BJP during polls.
The Union home minister also launched a scathing attack on Congress over its stand against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and accused Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi of misleading the minorities.
Amit Shah also asserted that AAP and Congress were the parties responsible for the "riots which broke out".
"AAP and Congress, especially Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, are misleading minorities of the country. Nobody's citizenship will be revoked under CAA. It is an Act to give citizenship. These parties are responsible for the riots which broke out," he said.
"Students who raised anti-India slogans should be put behind bars or not? But Kejriwal is not giving sanction to Police to prosecute them," Shah told the gathering.
The Union home minister made these statements while addressing the "The Delhi CycleWalk" inauguration event in Delhi.
