Former Mizoram governor Kummanam Rajasekharan flew to Delhi on Thursday (May 30). It has given way to speculations that he might be given a ministry. Earlier, he had stated that he would not be attending the swearing-in ceremony
Thiruvananthapuram: NDA candidate from Thiruvananthapuram, Kummanam Rajasekharan who lost in the Lok Sabha election in Thiruvananthapuram constituency has been called to Delhi. Just before the Prime Ministers swearing ceremony, Rajasekharan has been invited to Delhi. Earlier today (May 30), Rajasekharan boarded a flight to Delhi.
Kummanam Rajasekharan had earlier said that he was not going to the swearing-in ceremony. But there are talks that he might be given a ministry. When MyNation tried contacting him, he remained unavailable.
Besides Kummanam Rajashkeran, the names of leadersj like V Muraleedharan, Alphons Kannamthanam, Suresh Gopi and PC Thomas are also being considered for the post of ministers. According to sources, more priority is given to the former Mizoram governor Rajashekharan. The state leadership hopes that Kerala will be given representation in the cabinet during the first phase itself. Kerala state BJP president PS Sreedharan Pillai will also be attending the swearing-in ceremony.

The swearing-in ceremony of Modi will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan and President Ram Nath Kovind will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the PM and other members of the Union Council of Ministers.
