Bengaluru: Kanav Sharma, a Management Consultant at AT Kearney on Friday (January 24), posted a series of tweets in which he decided to complain to Ola cabs as the driver, in which he was travelling was in support of the Centre's decision on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and other policies.

In a series of tweets, Sharma said that the cab driver overheard his phone conversation where he was talking about India's economic situation.

However, the cab driver went on to defend Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government, which he found offending.

With the series of tweets surfacing on Twitter, netizens slammed Sharma for his act in which he tagged Ola Cabs and urged them to inform their drivers to only focus on driving than having a conversation with the customers.

Netizens also took to Twitter and took turns to troll the man who complained about the driver.

Protests broke out in different parts of the country against the CAA which grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh and who came to India on or before December 31, 2014.
