After Shiva Sena leader Sanjay Raut openly asked Kangana Ranaut not to visit Mumbai, the actress has wondered ‘why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir’
Bengaluru: The bad blood between actress Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra politicians has only continued as Sanjay Raut, a Shiva Sena leader has asked the actress not to visit Mumbai.
In the Sena’s mouthpiece Saamna, his intentions were made clear as the actress expressed her fears that the Mumbai cops were more threatening than the ‘movie mafia’.
To this, Kangana gave a befitting reply saying, “Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai, after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?”
Kangana doubting the Mumbai police was a result of the Mumbai commissioner allegedly liking a tweet, exhorting people to publicly shame Kangana.
But as the screenshot of the liking went viral, the Mumbai police were shamed into issuing a clarification. Stating that they had not done anything of that sort, they added that the matter had been sent to the cyber police department.
It is after this development that Kangana had added that she would need the services of the Himachal Pradesh police or the Central government’s assistance when he would visit Mumbai to expose the drug mafia.
So enraged was Sanjay Raut with the actress that he called her act as “treachery”.
A popular website reported that in an act of vandalism of public property in Mumbai, a person identified as “tylerstreetart” had painted “Azadi” slogan and other derogatory graffitis on the streets of Mumbai. He had created a graffiti of “Wall of Shame” where he had inscribed the names of nationalist icons of the country on those graffitis in an attempt to shame them.
