The long going YouTube subscribers war between Pewdiepie and T-Series was finally over yesterday, as Mr Beast surpass T-Series to become the most subscribed YouTuber. He has kept his promise of supporting Pewdiepie in the subscriber race and took to social media platform, X (formerly Twitter) to announce his victory.

Sharing an image of subscriber count of both the channels, Jimmy Donaldson aka Mr Beast wrote, "After 6 years we have finally avenged Pewdiepie."

The post currently has more than 31.5 million views and over 14K comments from people all over the world. Several big internet personalities commented on the post congratulating the YouTuber on his milestone.

Even tech billionaire Elon Musk joined in the conversation and congratulated Mr Beast. He wrote, "Wow, congrats!"

Talking about the sub-war, Jimmy said in an interview with Jon Youshaei, "I got a little 'this country versus that country'. I don't think Felix took it there, but it even got a little racist in the sub-war before. So I'm very cognizant of it, which is why I'm not leaning into it too hard. I just want to be the most subscribed-to channel. Yes, I have a lot of people helping me, but at the end of the day, I started this channel. I live and breathe this. I am a creator."

One person commented on the post, "Pewdiepie passing the torch to Mr. Beast to defeat t series"

Karl, a team member of Mr Beast crew wrote, "WE DID IT :,) So proud of you Jimmy Thanks everyone this is the craziest feeling ever."

"I’m literally shaking and crying right now I can’t believe we finally did it," another person wrote.
