How to Make Panchamrit

When making Panchamrit, it's important to use the right consistency of yogurt. If you dilute the yogurt by adding too much milk, the taste of Panchamrit may be compromised. Let's learn how to prepare delicious Panchamrit.

Step 1: Use raw milk for making Panchamrit for Janmashtami. Nowadays, pasteurized milk is available in packets. You can use packet milk without boiling it. Keep the milk in the fridge for a while and then take it out.

Step 2: Pour 1 cup of cold milk into a bowl. Now add full cream yogurt. Mix the milk and yogurt well until they are combined.

Step 3: Now add sugar, honey, and two spoons of ghee to taste. Finally, add tulsi leaves to the Panchamrit.

Do not make the mistake of plucking Tulsi leaves at night. Pluck the Tulsi leaves during the day. If you like dry fruits in Panchamrit, you can add a small amount of grated coconut, makhana, charoli, raisins, and dried dates. Finely chop all the dry fruits and mix them. Adding dry fruits enhances the taste of Panchamrit.
