Fried rice comes in many varieties, such as Chicken Fried Rice, Paneer Fried Rice, Egg Fried Rice, and Veg Fried Rice. Today, let's learn how to make simple Veg Fried Rice that kids will absolutely enjoy.

Ingredients for Veg Fried Rice :

Basmati rice - 2 cups
Cloves - 3
Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1
Garlic - 4 (finely chopped)
Butter - 1 tbsp
Broccoli - 1/4 cup
Cabbage - 1/4 cup (lengthwise sliced)
Green chillies - 2 (lengthwise sliced)
Ajinomoto - 1 pinch
Capsicum - 1 (chopped)
Cauliflower - 1/4 cup
Large onion - 1/2 (chopped)
Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - a few (finely chopped)
Salt - to taste
Oil - as needed

Follow these instructions:

Step 1- To make Veg Fried Rice, first, cook the rice until fluffy and set it aside. Then, heat a pan and add butter and oil. Add bay leaf, cloves, and garlic. Then add the onion and saute well. Add the capsicum and saute well.

Step 2- Next, add cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbage one after the other and saute well. Then add ajinomoto and mix well. Once the vegetables are cooked well, add salt. 

Step 3- Then add tomato sauce and soy sauce and saute well for about five minutes. Then add the cooked rice and mix. Make sure the rice doesn't break. Finally, add lemon juice, pepper powder, and chopped coriander leaves. That's it, the delicious Veg Fried Rice is ready.
