Ingredients for Masala Dosa

Dosa batter - As required
Potatoes - 2 (boiled)
Large onion - 2 (finely chopped)
Green chillies - 5 (finely chopped)
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 2 tbsp
Chana dal - 1 tbsp
Asefoetida (hing)- 1 pinch
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves 
Coriander leaves 
Salt as per taste
Oil 

Instructions:

Step 1- To make Masala Dosa, mash the boiled potatoes well. Then, heat a pan on the stove and add some oil.

Step 2- Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, and curry leaves. Fry them well.

Step 3- Then, add asafoetida, chopped onions, and green chillies. Saute them until the onions turn light brown. Now, add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Add turmeric powder and salt as needed. Take it off the stove.

Step 4- Now, heat a dosa pan on the stove. Once it's hot, pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread it evenly.

Step 5- Drizzle a teaspoon of oil around the edges. Once the dosa turns crispy, add the prepared potato masala in the centre.

Fold the dosa and serve hot. You can enjoy this delicious Masala Dosa with sambhar, coconut chutney, and coriander chutney.
