Actor Navtej Hundal died in Mumbai on Monday, reported Cine and TV Artiste’s Association (CINTAA) though the cause of death remains uncertain.
Mumbai: Bollywood is in a state of shock with the news of the demise of actor Navtej Hundal on Monday. The actor was last seen playing the role of the home minister in the recently released Uri: The Surgical Strike. He had been a part of films like Khalnayak (1993), Tere Mere Sapne (1996) and The Whisperers (2009). Mundal used to teach acting too.
The cremation was held at Oshiwara Crematorium in Jogeshwari today morning. According to a report in Indian Express, Navtej is survived by his wife and two daughters. His daughter, actor Avantika Hundaal, plays a key role of Mihika in Star Plus’ television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

His last Bollywood performance, Uri went on to become the biggest blockbuster of the year 2019 with collections of Rs 143 crore at the domestic box office.
