Popular Kollywood director Shankar's ambitious project 2.0 brought two superstars of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, together on screen. The film, which is said to be made on a whopping budget of over Rs 500 crore, will release on November 29 this year.

The makers of 2.0 launched the teaser of mega-budget sci-fi venture last month on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, on September 13  The promo received a fantastic response from the movie buffs on social media.

Reports say that the makers are planning to release the trailer on November 3. An official confirmation regarding the release date of the trailer is yet to be announced. Apparently, the trailer will have more of Akshay Kumar and less of Rajinikanth. This is because Akshay enjoys a huge fan base pan India and this will definitely help the film earn well at the box office. 

2.0, produced by Lyca Productions, will be released in nearly 15 languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam.

The film features Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain and Riyaz Khan in significant roles.
