Rana Daggubati will be seen playing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the biopic on Telugu actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s (NTR) biopic.

Stars Balakrishna and Vidya Balan are in the lead roles. Balakrishna is seen reprising his father NTR and Vidya will play the politician's wife, Basavatarakam. The movie also features Rakul Preet, Prakash Raj, Murli Sharma, Bengali actor Jishu Sengupta and veteran Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram will be seen playing his father Nandamuri Harikrishna who recently died in a car accident. The movie is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and MM Keeravani has composed the music.

Rana started shooting for NTR couple of days ago and has gone through a significant transformation to look like Chandrababu Naidu, who is NTR's son-in-law.

A few pictures from the sets have been leaked where we can see Rana in a white lenin shirt just like a politician and his hairdo perfectly matches Naidu's hairstyle.

NTR biopic is being jointly produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati.
