Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, a beloved couple in Bollywood, captivated hearts with their picturesque wedding in Goa against the backdrop of a serene sunset. Their journey to matrimony began officially in October 2021 when they shared their relationship with the world. 

However, it wasn't until three months prior to their wedding that Jackky decided to propose to Rakul.

In an endearing revelation during an interview with Zoom, Rakul disclosed that despite their families' approval and ongoing wedding preparations, Jackky hadn't formally proposed to her. Determined to have her special moment, Rakul "forced" Jackky's hand, insisting that she wouldn't proceed with the wedding until he popped the question.

Rakul yearned for a proposal story to cherish for a lifetime. She expressed her desire to Jackky, emphasizing the importance of the moment. "You have to propose," she insisted, giving Jackky a deadline of a few months to figure it out.

The pivotal moment finally arrived during their joint bachelor trip in December 2023. Jackky, with the help of their close friend Bhumi Pednekar, orchestrated a surprise proposal for Rakul. Bhumi, playing the role of the ideal 'BFF,' made the necessary arrangements and ensured the proposal was a momentous occasion.

For Rakul, the proposal on their bachelor trip was the culmination of her heartfelt wishes. It was a testament to their love story and the bonds they shared with each other and their dear friend Bhumi Pednekar.
