Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 is all set to break SS Rajmouli’s Baahubali.
Till now, we all knew that Baahubali was the most expensive films in South Indian cinema so far, but according to the latest news, Rajinikanth's 2.0 has spent $ 75 million (Rs 544 crore) on the VFX alone. 2.0, which is currently the most expensive Indian film, is also the first venture in the country, which is entirely shot in 3D.
2.0 is gearing up for release on November 29 this year and makers are releasing the teaser of the film tomorrow on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Now with that budget, we must say that we can't wait to witness the teaser and trailer of the film.
A few hours ago, director Shankar tweeted saying, "#2point0 teaser 1 day to go. 2.0 marks the first ever 3D Teaser and you can watch the premiere in a PVR & Sathyam theatre near you. Give a missed call on +91 9099949466 to book your free ticket (SIC)."

The filmmakers had more than 100 studios across the globe working on the VFX in 2.0 under the supervision of Raju Mahalingam, who also worked on Baahubali as a VFX Supervisor.

In the movie, Akshay Kumar in a key role will mark his debut in Tamil cinema and Amy Jackson will be seen playing the leading lady.
2.0 is a sequel to the 2010 release Enthiran (Robot), which has Rajinikanth playing dual roles, scientist Vasikaran and robot Chitti. Enthiran also starred Danny Degnzopa, an antagonist, while Aishwarya Rai was seen playing the love interest of Rajinikanth in the movie.
AR Rahman is composing the music for the sequel too, and talented Adil Hussain will be seen playing a pivotal role.
2.0 will release on November 29, post-Diwali.
