The film team including RSVP productions has committed the sum to the families of Uri attack as well as the victims of the recent Pulwama attack
Mumbai: Joining the league of people coming forward to help out the families of martyrs in the Pulwama terror attack, the team of Uri The Surgical Strike, as well as RSVP productions, has committed a sum of Rs 1 crore to the families of Uri and Pulwama attack.
UTV head honcho Ronnie Screwvala, tweeted the announcement and also tagged big brands such as PayTM, Ola Cabs, Flipkart, Amazon, urging them to pitch in too. He wrote, "Urge more to respond -in small lots - and also our Indian “Unicorns” to donate graciously.”

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is also reportedly donating a sum of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the slain soldiers. Confirming the news, his spokesperson told IANS, “Yes, Mr Bachchan will be giving Rs 5 lakh to each of the martyr's families and is currently finding out the correct process to do so.”
Meanwhile, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh also took to Instagram to inspire his fans to donate via Paytm as he shared a receipt of his donation worth Rs 3 lakhs to the CRPF Wives Welfare Association.
