The countdown to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's wedding has begun. And the wedding blitz kicked off in New York over the weekend with an adorable bridal shower. Take a look
Priyanka Chopra had an exceptional bridal shower last weekend at a beautifully decorated room at Tiffany & Co's, donning the white strapless Marchesa feathered gown paired with nude Christian Louboutin pumps. The actress accessorised her look with a diamond string necklace from Tiffany and the celebration took place in a room full of stunning ladies.
The soon-to-be bride shared some inside photos and videos from her dreamy bridal shower. In her post, the actor thanked film producer Mubina Rattonsey and her manager Anjula Acharia, who organised the shower.
“Love, laughter and a room full of amazing ladies…and some special gentlemen (what a special surprise)! Thank you so much @mubinarattonsey and @anjula_acharia for throwing me such a memorable bridal shower that broke all the rules! My amazing friends and family who made me feel so special and loved, thank you. And to top it off @tiffanyandco 😍 Perfect! Here’s sharing it with you…(SIC),” wrote Priyanka.
In the pictures, we spotted her mom Madhu Chopra, mom-in-law Denise Jonas and Danielle at the party, but the surprise guest was actress Lupita Nyong'o. The actress is best known to Indian fans from her role in Black Panther. We also saw Lupita Nyong'o at the event.
In a video, we can see Priyanka dancing her heart out for Whitney Houston’s I wanna Dance with Somebody with her best friends forever.
Priyanka and Nick made their relationship official in August this year. They shared an adorable click from their traditional roka ceremony. “Taken.. With all my heart and soul,” wrote PeeCee and the caption of Jonas’s Instagram post read, “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love.”
According to reports, the couple will tie the knot at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on December 1 and their pre-wedding festivities including a sangeet ceremony will reportedly take place at Mehrangarh Fort on November 29.
