Mumbai: The trailer of one of the most-awaited movies of the year is finally out now. PM Narendra Modi's trailer has already garnered over one million views as of now. The movie will be released on April 5.

Helmed by biopic maestro Omung Kumar of Sarabjit and Mary Kom fame, the first look and poster of the film were released in January in 23 languages and they made a splash on the internet.

Producer, creative director and story writer Sandip Ssingh said, “This is a very special film to everyone, who has been a part of this journey. It is an emotional moment for me, I am very happy and overwhelmed with the fact that the trailer has released today. We are bringing this film a week early on public demand. We are now looking forward to the release."

Present were producers Sandip Singh, Suresh Oberoi, Anand Pandit, Director Omung Kumar, Actors Vivek Anand Oberoi, Manoj Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, Barkha Sengupta, Zarina Wahab, Prashant Narayanan, Yatin Karyekar along with others.

The biopic has quite a stellar cast including actors Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Rajendra Gupta and Akshat R Saluja in important roles.  

Director Omung Kumar said, "Directing a biopic is always a great experience, and when the biopic is of a man like our PM Narendra Modi, it is truly inspiring. While shooting the film, each day we realised and experienced the amount of love this man has from the people. This has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me."

Actor Vivek Anand Oberoi added, "This film has been the most exciting yet difficult journey for me. Playing the part of the serving Prime Minister of our country is a challenge in itself. Nobody can ever get into his shoes, Mr Modi is the hero of the film and the nation. Me and the whole team working on the film have  just tried our bit to show the inspiring journey of this common man."

Omung Kumar's PM Narendra Modi will traverse the journey of Narendra Modi from his humble beginnings to becoming the Prime Minister of India.

The film has versatile actor Vivek Anand Oberoi in and as ‘PM Narendra Modi’, actors Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Ramakant Dayma, Akshat R Saluja,Jimesh Patel and Darshan Kumaar in important roles.  

The movie was also shot in Ahmedabad, Kutch-Bhuj and in the beautiful mountains of Uttarakhand. The film is currently completing its last leg of the shoot in Mumbai. Producer Sandip Singh said, "This is a very special film and a story that needs to be told. I hope this story of faith inspires the audiences. We are excited and happy to release the story of 1.3 billion people."

According to recent reports, Oberoi had also injured his leg while shooting a scene, which shows Modi walking barefoot on snow at Ganga ghat near Dharali village. Doctors immediately treated the actor's leg, which had a cut due to the pointed branch of a tree.
