After a massive success of Samantha Akkineni's Telugu film Oh! Baby, the makers, including Rana Daggubati, are planning for a remake of it in Hindi too
Telugu star Samantha Akkineni's latest movie Oh! Baby created a roar at the box office just after it released last week. Movie critics and audiences can't stop praising the film and Samantha's performance in it.
According to the latest rumours, the movie is all set to be remade in Hindi. In an interview, Rana Daggubati was asked about the same where he stated, "It is a story originally written in Korean and adapted into many languages in the world. And definitely, I will look at making it soon in Hindi."
The latest news published in a Telugu website reported that the makers are in talks with Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt to play Samantha's role. To that, Alia has given positive signs as she loved the character as well as the content, say reports.
However, some other reports claim that Boney Kapoor is also very interested in remaking the movie with his daughter Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role. The producer, Suresh Babu of the Telugu version, had confirmed the same.
According to industry insiders, till now nothing is confirmed or finalised. So, now we have to wait for the official announcement.
Oh! Baby is a fantasy comedy film based on South Korean movie Miss Granny. The film also stars Naga Shaurya, veteran actress Lakshmi among others. It is a women-centric movie and Samantha has been seen promoting the movie heavily on her social media pages.
Alia Bhatt is working on Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra, Sanjay Dutt's Sadak 2 and SS Rajamouli's multilingual magnum opus RRR, whereas Jhanvi Kapoor is busy with Karan Johar's Takht.
