Chennai: While news of online shopping portals delivering fake designer shoes came to light recently, turns out mobile phones may be fake too. Kollywood actor Nakkhul Jaidev shared his bitter experience with online shopping portal Flipkart regarding the same.

Jaidev had allegedly ordered an expensive Rs 1,19,900 worth iPhone XS MAX for his wife which turned out to be fake. On top of that India's biggest e-commerce site is not responding to his claims either.

The actor took to his Twitter page on December 2 to share his online shopping experience with some photos and wrote, "VERY IMPORTANT: I RECEIVED A FAKE IPHONE BY ORDERING THROUGH FLIPKART @Flipkart Read ahead. @flipkartsupport #FakeiPhone #Flipkart Getting cheated on is one thing, but not giving a guarantee that it'll be solved is another. @timesofindia @IndianExpress"

He also posted a few videos explaining his unfortunate experience and said that he immediately called Flipkart customer care when he received his package. However, the executive who took his complain reportedly said that the company couldn't do anything about it.
