The filmmaker denied the allegations yet again tweeting that he is a 'great supporter of the #MeToo movement'
Mumbai: Days after getting accused of sexual harassment, a police complaint has been filed against filmmaker Subhash Ghai. Model-actor Kate Sharma filed a molestation case against Ghai on Saturday evening alleging that the 73-year-old filmmaker tried to "forcibly kiss and hug her when he had called her to his house," news agency ANI reported.
Earlier this week, he was accused by another woman of rape after spiking her drink.
Meanwhile, Ghai took to Twitter to strongly deny the allegation saying that he is a great supporter of the #MeToo movement. Ironically, he had termed the movement as a 'fashion' when the sexual harassment allegations first surfaced.
I am surely a grt supporter of d metoo movement n women empowerment bt hope that those taking undue advantage of the movement do not end up diluting it 4their own short time fame.
