Manipur: With the competition getting tougher on the music show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, singer Mandakini Takhelambam has been fighting odds relying solely on her singing prowess. 

Hailing from Imphal in Manipur, the visually challenged Mandakini has been wowing the audience with her voice and has also become an inspiration for many. Turns out the chief minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh is also a fan of the singer and seems to be rooting for her.

The chief minister has announced Rs 10 Lakh reward for Mandakini as an acknowledgement of her brilliant singing and for making her home ground Manipur proud. Her proud mentor, music composer Shekhar Ravjiani said, “Mandakini, you have created magic on stage and are a blessing for everyone. Your singing is excellent, and I am honoured to have such a talented person representing our state on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.”
