While the entire nation has been busy tracking the results of Lok Sabha elections 2019, Bollywood sensation Sunny Leone started trending on the social media website.

Sunny Leone did not contest the Lok Sabha elections, and nor is she associated with any political party but the faux pas during the fast-paced election coverage led to this funniest blunder.

Republic TV news anchor Arnab Goswami, accidentally said Sunny Leone, when he intended to say Sunny Deol. Yes, Arnab Goswami during an intense discussion accidentally referred to BJP candidate from Gurdaspur, Sunny Deol, as Bollywood actress Sunny Leone. 

Within a few minutes the video went viral on social media and everyone took a break from busy counting votes to laugh. Sunny appears to be quite amused by Arnab’s blunder. She responded to him in a tweet saying, “Leading by how may votes???? ;)”

Manforce, the popular condom brand has now poked fun at Arnab in a creative way. This was expected considering the fact that Sunny Leone is the brand ambassador for the condom brand. 

Taking it to their official social media handles, the company shared a Facebook post stating, "Dear Arnab, we understand. She is always on our mind as well."
