Tamil Nadu's Lok Sabha Elections 2024 saw the early arrival of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar at his polling booth in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai, where he actively participated by casting his vote. Tamil Nadu witnessed a star-studded affair at the polling booths as celebrities from the film industry turned out in large numbers to cast their votes in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Among them, superstar Ajith Kumar stole the spotlight by arriving early at the Thiruvanmiyur voting booth in Chennai to exercise his democratic right. Dressed in white, Ajith showcased his commitment to the electoral process by patiently waiting for the voting station to open at 7 a.m. He was captured on camera casting his ballot and proudly displaying his inked finger, setting a commendable example for his fans to follow.
Joining Ajith in fulfilling their civic duty was none other than the legendary actor Rajinikanth, popularly known as Thalaiva. His presence added further excitement to the electoral atmosphere as he too participated in the first phase of voting. Not to be outdone, actor Sivakarthikeyan and his wife, Aarthi, also made their way to the polling booth to cast their votes, emphasizing the importance of voter participation.
The star-studded affair didn't end there, as acclaimed actor Dhanush was also spotted exercising his franchise alongside other citizens. With the first phase of voting kicking off on April 16, Tamil Nadu found itself at the forefront of the democratic process. The outcome of the elections, which will witness a fierce battle between prominent political parties such as the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), is eagerly awaited and will be revealed on June 4.
