We all know that Rajinikanth will soon be seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s next and the team has recently wrapped up the first schedule of shooting in Darjeeling. The second one will be in Dehradun. According to reports, South actress Simran Bagga will be playing the role of Rajini's wife.

Now the latest is that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also bagged the same project and will share the screen with Thalaiva.

 

Announcing the news, Sun Pictures, which is funding the project, tweeted, "We are happy to announce that for the first time, @SimranbaggaOffc and @Nawazuddin_S will be acting with Superstar Rajini in #SuperstarWithSunPictures. [sic]"

Reports also suggest that actor Bobby Simha and Sanath Reddy will be playing sons of Rajini and Simran and Meghna Akash will be paired opposite Sanath. Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the main antagonist in the movie.

Director Karthik Subbaraj is known for his unique concept. His latest movie was Prabhu Deva's Mercury.

Nawaz is currently enjoying the applauses coming for the Netflix original web series, Sacred Games. He is currently busy with many projects like Genius, Ghoomketu, Thackeray and Shoebite.

According to reports, he will also join the cast of Kabir Khan’s 83, which will feature Ranveer Singh essaying the role of former Indian skipper Kapil Dev. The film is about India’s 1983 cricket World Cup victory.
