Actor R Madhavan got trolled when he expressed his views regarding the video posted by Congress on Twitter that made fun of PM Modi.
Mumbai: Talented actor R Madhavan seemed to have attracted the wrath of social media trolls with his recent Internet outing. The actor, who is busy with his upcoming movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, learnt the hard way about the price of stardom.
It all started when Madhavan condemned the Congress for posting a distasteful video on their official Twitter poking fun at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The video aimed to make fun of PM Modi and President Xi Jinping's relationship, which did not sit well with the actor.
This is in such bad taste. What ever the political rivalry -Shri Modi Ji is the Prime Minister of this country and you are demeaning this nation in front of China in this video with such crass attempt at humor.NOT expected from this Twitter handle 🙏🙏.@narendramodi @RahulGandhi https://t.co/KJiPyZI7lt

Madhavan was quick to criticise Congress for the video saying that the video was in bad taste and is demeaning the nation globally, especially in front of China. His tweet soon went viral but he also became the receiving end of political trolls. Some netizens tried to give gyan on how politics work in India while others went on to explain to him how both the top political parties yield to such ways to humiliate each other, especially during the election time.
Sir where were u when BJP almost daily mock Dr. MMS with memes and even they placed Sonia Gandhi as an item dancer.

This is the only reason why they were restricted to "44" last LS Election

it's amongst their recent developed habbits, whr they only try to Impress their HARDCORE voters by making Memes & Jokes, and end up being a joke themselves#LokSabhaElections2019 #RahulGandhi #NarendraModi
Bhai, they are opposition. If you want to take the moral high ground on the level of discourse, you missed the bus in 2014 when IT cells thought that running down rivals through memes (remember Pappu jokes?) is the way to go. You get what you sow, brother.

On the work front, Madhavan was seen in the Amazon Prime Series Breathe and is currently working on his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. He recently shared some images of himself as Nambi and took the internet by surprise for the uncanny similarity with the scientist Nambi Narayanan. The film will be shot as a trilingual production in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
