During a scene at a Mumbai restaurant where Sheeran, Bhat, and Gill were sampling Indian cuisine, Sheeran casually mentioned his upcoming dinner plans with Khan, prompting awe from Bhat. Sheeran disclosed that he had previously met Shah Rukh Khan briefly and confessed to watching several of his movies, often during his extensive travels. Bhat chimed in, referring to Khan as the "G.O.A.T" (Greatest of All Time).
In a light-hearted moment, Shubman Gill, who had played for Shah Rukh Khan's IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, jokingly asked Sheeran to inquire why he wasn't retained by the team.
Sheeran had earlier shared a video on his Instagram featuring himself and Shah Rukh Khan, where they recreated the actor's iconic pose. The post was captioned, "This is the Shape of Us. Spreading love together…."

I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come!"
