Bengaluru:  While actor-politician Ambareesh, who recently died following a cardiac arrest, his son Abhishek will be seen on the silver screen shortly. According to reports, one of Ambareesh's hit songs would be recreated for his son’s debut movie, titled Amar. 

In Abhishek’s debut film Amar, the song, Olavina Udugore Kodalenu.. Rakuthade Baradenu Ida Nannu from the 1987 film Olavina Udugore will be remixed. M Ranga Rao composed the original version of the song and the lyrics were written by RN Jayagopal.

Amar is produced by Sandesh Productions and is directed by Nagashekar. The shooting of this film began a couple of weeks ago. 

Abhishek is passionate about motorsports in general and has been meeting several experts to understand what it is to be on track. The makers of the film have also planned to keep the stunts as real as possible.

A significant portion of the film has been shot in Switzerland recently. The rest would be shot in and around Bengaluru. According to reports, Amar is likely to be released in 2019.
