Ravindra Jadeja has decided to step away from T20 international cricket following India's successful campaign in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, making him the third Indian player to retire after the tournament.

Announcing his decision on Instagram, Jadeja expressed gratitude for his T20I career and affirmed his commitment to continue representing India in other formats. He described winning the T20 World Cup as a pinnacle moment in his T20 international journey, thanking fans for their support and memories.

During the recent World Cup, Jadeja's performance was modest, with just one wicket and 35 runs in eight matches. Despite this, he remains a crucial player for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), contributing significantly to their three IPL title wins. Jadeja made his T20I debut back in 2009 against Sri Lanka and has since played 74 matches, scoring 515 runs and taking 54 wickets.

Known for his all-round abilities, Jadeja now aims to focus on Test and ODI formats. His departure from T20Is marks a transition in his career, reflecting his dedication to continuing his contribution to Indian cricket across different arenas.
