Zomato, the popular restaurant aggregator and food delivery service, recently marked its 16th birthday with a vibrant celebration at Vidya School in Gurugram, supported by Zomato Feeding India. Co-founders Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah launched the company in 2008, and Goyal commemorated the milestone with an event filled with joy and laughter.

During the celebration, Goyal was seen cutting a chocolate cake while schoolchildren sang “Happy Birthday.” A heartwarming moment occurred when he shared a cake with one of the children—the day also included fun activities, such as a lively game of musical chairs, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and happiness.

The celebration featured not only the cake-cutting but also displays of creativity, including birthday cards and origami flowers made by the students. A special lunch meal provided by Feeding India was part of the occasion, further highlighting Zomato’s commitment to social responsibility.

Goyal took to Instagram to share glimpses of the joyful event, captioning the post, “Spent the first part of Zomato’s 16th birthday visiting and celebrating with kids at a Zomato Feeding India-supported school. Received much love, and so many high fives.” His post resonated with social media users, who flooded the comments with warm birthday wishes and expressions of support for Zomato.

This celebration not only marked a significant milestone for Zomato but also reinforced the company’s dedication to giving back to the community through initiatives like Feeding India.
