State Bank of India (SBI) debit card fees: SBI has updated the yearly maintenance fees associated with specific debit cards. The updated yearly maintenance fees are shown below; they go into effect on April 1.
The yearly maintenance fees associated with specific debit cards have been modified by the State Bank of India (SBI). According to the SBI website, the new suggested rates will take effect on April 1, 2024.
It's crucial to remember that, according to information on the SBI website, the current yearly maintenance fees for Classic, Silver, Global, and Contactless debit cards will change as of April 1 and also there will be an increase in fees for Yuva, Gold, and Combo Debit cards.
According to SBI Card, starting on April 1, 2024, some credit cards will not be able to accrue reward points for rent payment transactions. Additionally, on April 15, 2024, certain credit cards' reward point accumulation on rent payment transactions will end.
The main points of the updated fees are listed below:
Revised Debit Card Changes:
1. The annual maintenance fee of Rs. 200 + GST now applies to Classic, Silver, Global, and Contactless Debit Cards instead of Rs. 125 + GST.
2. There will also be an increase in the annual maintenance fee for Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, and My Card (Image Card), which was formerly Rs. 175+ GST to Rs. 250+ GST.
3. The annual maintenance fee for the Pride Platinum Business Debit Card has been raised to Rs. 425 plus GST. Right now, it is Rs. 350 plus GST.
4. The new annual maintenance fee for the SBI Platinum debit card is Rs. 325 + GST. Currently, the fee is 250 rupees plus GST.
