Zareen Khan has had a lustrous career in the Indian film industry. Recently the Veer actress has shown her interest in exploring different sides of cinema and working with women filmmakers. She wants to be a part of a project that is fully led by women and wants to learn from that experience which she hasn't been able to do in the industry as it is a heavily male-dominated one.

When asked about female filmmakers she would like to collaborate with, the actress was quick to name Oscar-winning filmmaker Guneet Monga. She called her "driving force" behind bringing women's stories and struggles in front of the screen and supporting other women filmmakers. Zareen said, "Guneet's passion for storytelling is truly inspiring. Her ability to bring diverse and compelling stories to life is unmatched. Be it 'Kathal', 'Pagglait', 'Masaan', Oscar-winning 'The Elephant Whisperers' documentary, or the latest release 'Kill', her body of work reflects artistic creativity with a strong social conscience, making her a leading figure in the world of filmmaking."

She also lauded Guneet for being able to seamlessly blur the line between artistic and commercial cinema with her visionary direction and talent. Many Zareen fans want to see the actress in more big-budget movies however, the 1921 actress has really shown interest in working with ace filmmakers. On the work front, Zareen has a couple of projects in the pipeline, which she will be announcing soon.
