Nag Ashwin's directorial film 'Kalki 2898 AD has been ruling the box office since its release on June 27, 2024. The movie is entering its third week in theaters and is still getting love from the audience. According to the latest reports, Kalki 2898 AD will be released on OTT platforms in a few months. The makers of the film have made a deal with Amazon Prime Video for premiering the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions of the film. However, the Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD will be released on Netflix. As per the report by Deccan Chronicle, Kalki 2898 AD will get its OTT release in September.

While the makers have not announced any date or month for the release yet, the fans are digging to find any crumb of information about the digital release of the film. 

Kalki 2898 AD is a story inspired by the epic of Mahabharata. The movie is set in the year 2898 AD. The Earth has lost all the elements required to sustain life and humanity is on the verge of extinction. Amitabh Bachchan plays the crucial role of Ashwathama. Prabhas plays the character of Bhairav, who is a bounty hunter. Deepika is Sum 80 who is pregnant and will give birth to Kalki - the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu. Kamal Haasan plays the antagonist - Supreme Yaskin in the film. The movie ends on a thrilling cliffhanger and the 2nd part has been announced.
