Sonu Sood is a Bollywood actor, model and producer. He was born on 30 July 1973 in Moga, Punjab. His sun sign is Leo. He completed his schooling from Sacred Heart School, Moga. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur. 

His father, Shakti Sagar Sood was a businessman. His mother, Saroj Sood used to work as a teacher. He has two sisters, Monika Sood and Malvika Sachhar.

He is married to Sonali Sood. They have two sons, Ayaan Sood and Ishaan Sood.

Interesting facts about Sonu Sood

After completing his schooling, he worked in a car showroom with his father. 

During the second year of his college, Sonu Sood decided to pursue a career in modelling and acting. 

Sonu Sood moved to Mumbai with a small sum of Rs 5,500. 

During his struggling days, he lived in a cramped house with six other people. 

To support himself financially, he took up a private job with a monthly salary of Rs 4500.

For his first modelling assignment, he earned Rs 500.
