Sakshi Tanwar made her acting debut in the year 1996 with the television show called ‘Albela Sur Mela.’

Before pursuing a career in acting, she worked as a sales trainee at the Taj Palace in Delhi. 

With her first salary, Sakshi bought gifts for her parents and siblings. 

During her college days, she was the president of the Drama Society. Back then, she aspired to become a software engineer. 

While she was preparing for various entrance examinations, she auditioned for the role of host in the reality show ‘Albela Sur Mela.’ Sakshi could not clear the examinations, but she successfully passed the audition.
