A terrifying incident at an airport in Indonesia has drawn attention from all around the world, highlighting the risks that passengers and airport employees alike suffer as a result of incompetence, as demonstrated by past catastrophic events.
In a viral video circulating on social media, an unsettling scene unfolds at an airport in Indonesia. The footage captures a moment of distress as an airport staff member, presumably from Transnusa Airlines, slips off a step ladder while disembarking from a plane.
As he steps out of the aircraft door, a colleague inadvertently pulls back the ladder, leading to a precarious fall.
Regrettably, this incident is not an isolated one. Similar accidents due to negligence have been reported in the past. Last April, tragedy struck at Pune airport when a security agent, Vivin Anthony Dominic, employed by AIX Connect (formerly Air Asia), lost his life after falling while deboarding a plane from its rear door.

Dominic, a 34-year-old resident of Lohegaon, Pune, succumbed to the unfortunate mishap.
In yet another distressing occurrence in September 2023, a passenger suffered a serious injury. While disembarking from a plane, she tragically fell off the stairs and broke her leg in two places. This incident, reported by El Periódico, involved a journey with Ryanair, an Irish ultra-low-cost carrier.
The woman was traveling from Seville to Alicante in Spain in February 2020 to meet her newborn grandson when the accident occurred.
