An article from an unidentified newspaper went viral after a photograph of it was circulated on social media.
New Delhi: A picture of an article went viral on social media after the reader found an unexpected twist in the plot. The article with "Missing woman mystery solved" was published in a newspaper that spoke about a tourist who went missing near Iceland's Eldgja canyon.
"A group of tourists spent hours Saturday night looking for a missing woman near Iceland's Eldgja canyon, only to find her among the search party. The group was travelling through Iceland on a tour bus and stopped near a volcanic canyon," the article read.
"Soon, there was word of a missing passenger. The woman, who had changed clothes, didn't recognise the description of herself and joined in the search," the article further added.
"But the search was called off at about 3 am when it became clear the missing woman was, in fact, accounted for and searching for herself."
The unexpected twist in the article left many readers in splits. Some also took to Twitter to show the article to other microblogging users.
