With no support yet from other countries, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan continues to urge Saudi, UAE foreign ministers to intervene in the Kashmir issue
Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has so far not learnt any lesson and is all set to face more embarrassment worldwide. He is all set to raise the Kashmir issue during his address in the UN General Assembly session next month.
Earlier on Wednesday (September 4), Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and minister of foreign affairs and International cooperation of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan arrived in Islamabad where Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi received them.

Khan said that Saudi Arabia and the UAE, along with the world, should play a role in urging India to reverse its recent decision on Kashmir.
According to the Express Tribune, Imran Khan's general debate speech at the world body is scheduled to be held on September 27.
It is reportedly said that Khan has directed his party to mobilise community members and human rights organisations to protest against India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York during the summit.
Earlier, India had categorically told the international community that its move to scrap Article 370 of Jammu and Kashmir was an internal matter. The country had also advised Pakistan to accept reality.

However, Imran Khan earlier faced embarrassment while urging other countries to intervene.
Khan would embark on a four-day visit to the US on September 23. It is also said that he would hold meetings with his Malaysian counterpart as well as other world leaders on the sidelines of the General Assembly session, besides meeting representatives from the Pakistani diaspora and business community in the states.
