Who doesn’t love a piping hot McDonald's meal? But will you pay for a six-year-old meal?

Well, it seems people would happily do so.

When an Ontario-based farmer Dave Alexander put up his half a year-old McDonald meal for sale on eBay, it fetched $82 (Rs 5,614).

According to the Mirror, Dave decided to store the food as he wanted to see if the rumours stating that fast food could last for years, were at all true.

He got the meal, which consisted of a burger and fries, on 7 June 1012 and after six years he put it up for sale.

However, the e-commerce website removed the advertisement as no expiry date was given for the item.

Talking about the appearance of the meal, Alexander said as reported by CBC Radio, "The fries are stunningly good looking. The fries look like they were purchased this morning. The burger itself has darkened a little bit. The bun is about as hard as a hockey puck, but it looks just lit it's brand new cosmetically."

Well, we cannot even imagine what will happen to someone’s tummy if the person decided to take a bite of this meal.
