England won the ICC World Cup 2019 final at Lord's on Sunday (July 14) after the match and Super Over ended in ties. England took the trophy on boundary count. In England’s 15-man squad seven players are from different countries and were not born in England. So, who do you think won the World Cup 2019? Is it England or Rest of the World? 

London: After waiting for 44 years, England finally won the ICC World Cup 2019 at Lord’s on Sunday (July 14) in a dramatic final where both the match and the Super Over were tied. England took the trophy on boundary count as per the rules. But when you look at the team composition of England, should we really say that England won the trophy? Well, some argue that it is not the homegrown players who got that their maiden 50-over ICC silverware. England’s 15-man squad comprises of players who were born elsewhere including captain Eoin Morgan, who represented Ireland at the international level before switching to England. So, who won the World Cup 2019? Is it England or Rest of the World team? Fans were left wondering.
