Rajkot: A video of a lion eating grass in Gir forest in Gujarat has taken social media by storm. The animal with carnivorous diet is seen consuming grass and it made people go crazy over the video.
In the video, the lion is seen grazing inside the Khambha forest area at Amreli district in Gujarat. But here is a catch, if you look at the video till the end, the lion pukes the grass out.
Though you might not have heard about such a phenomenon so far, according to experts, it is not uncommon for wild cats to eat grass.
Experts say that lions consume grass when their stomach is upset or can't digest what they have eaten. Most of the time lion consumes grass to vomit out what has not digested.
