Even as governments scramble to contain the spread of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic, researchers have made a startling discovery that a form of the coronavirus can linger around for more than 2 weeks.According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Coronavirus can survive on a surface for 17 days. This comes after traces were found in cabins on infected cruise ship Diamond Princess more than 2 weeks after passengers, who showed symptoms or were asymptomatic, had vacated the rooms.
