Karnataka's political drama is taking twists and turns with every passing moment. On Saturday, chief minister Kumaraswamy and Congress CLP leader Siddaramaiah had convinced MLA MTB Nagaraj to withdraw his resignation. MTB Nagaraj too announced that he will withdraw his resignation and would remain with the Congress party. However, yesterday he flew to Mumbai in a private plane and joined hands with rebels, who have been holed up there for a week.
In a press conference in Mumbai, MTB Nagaraj announced that there was no question of him withdrawing his resignation. With the latest development the coalition government loses its majority.
