Andhra Pradesh man attempts self immolation in front of Singarayakonda police station

Ongole: A 30-year-old man, T Naga Raju, on Tuesday (July 30), poured petrol and attempted to set himself ablaze in front of the Singarayakonda police station in Andhra Pradesh alleging that assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was harassing him for a bribe to withdraw cases registered against him. 

However, the police jumped into action and rescued Naga Raju and shifted him to RIMS Hospital for treatment. The doctors have reportedly claimed that the victim's condition is critical. Further reports in this regard are awaited.
