Prime Minister Narendra Modi Greets People of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura on Statehood Day

Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura are celebrating their statehood day today. These three states completed 48 years on January 21, 2020. Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura were granted state status under the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganization) Act, 1971 on 21 January 1972.
