Bengal: Communally charged Asansol under RAF vigil

The Rapid Action Force and Bengal Police in large numbers are keeping a close vigil to thwart any attempt to aggravate the situation in communally charged Asansol. Though Asansol police commissioner Laxmi Narayan Meena has claimed the situation is under control, an uneasy calm has descended on the area where members of two communities clashed over some 'objectionable' chants emanating from a Ram Navami procession as reported by MyNation earlier.
