Bengaluru: The police and election commission officials raided and found printers and voter slips from persons alleged to be Congress workers. Sixteen persons including six women were taken into custody by Bengaluru Police. According to sources, the seized voter slips, and printers were with the people linked to the Congress’s Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha candidate Rizwan Arshad. The raid was conducted at around 8:30 pm on Monday. Officials found voter slips in Prabhat complex near Bhoomika theatre.
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) commissioner and district electoral officer N Manjunatha Prasad visited the Upparpet police station and examined the seized voter slips.
