People with disabilities take aerial route to create voting awareness in Karnataka

Karwar: Six physically disabled voters created voting awareness through paragliding in Karwar, Karnataka, on Sunday. The paragliders wanted all the voters of Uttara Kannada to vote on April 23. The event was organised with the help of Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme. Along with that, the people with disabilities also felt happy as paragliding boosted their self-confidence.

The 2019 general election will be held in seven phases. The first phase of polling was completed on April 11. Karnataka will go to polls in two phases, April 18 and 23. Uttara Kannada will vote on April 23.
