Mandya: I-T raids on close aides of Karnataka JDS ministers

Mandya: The Income Tax (I-T) department on Tuesday morning conducted raids on the house and fuel station of JD(S) zilla panchayat member Thimmegowda in Mandya. Also, the house of zilla panchayat president Nagrathna Swamy was raided in Mandya by the I-T officials. Thimmegowda is a close aide of JD(S) minister CS Puttaraju. Swamy is a close aide of another JD(S) minister DC Thammanna.

After the announcement of the Lok Sabha polls, several I-T raids have been conducted on the premises of various contractors in Mysuru, Mandya and Hassan districts in Karnataka. Some of them are said to be supporters of the JD(S).
