Karwar deputy commissioner distributes voter IDs underwater

The district administration of Karwar has been going to depths to create voting awareness. The administration aims at increasing voter turnout in Uttara Kannada constituency. The SWEEP committee in Karwar organised distribution of voter IDs underwater at Netrani in Murudeshwar. The deputy commissioner Harish Kumar K and zilla panchayat CEO M Roshan-led team dove underwater and requested people to vote using sign language. Youths who participated in the event promised to exercise their franchise and also encouraged others to do so.
